Good Morning Data Scientists,
This week, my client got offered a business analyst role!
And it reminded me of this quote from Tim Ferris:
A person's success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he or she is willing to have.
What does this look like in a job search?
Reaching out to your network (in the right way)
Following up with people when they don’t reply
Asking for a raise
My client did all of these, and now he’s earning money again (he’d been unemployed for a year).
Obviously this only works when you’ve got the right skills for the role, but given my client’s previous experience (2 years in a similar role) we knew finding another business analyst role would never be a problem.
