Good Morning Data Scientists!

Not sure how to present yourself in your job search?

Here’s what you need to remember:

Data Science isn’t about making notebooks for the sake of it.

It’s about solving BUSINESS problems.

So you have to present yourself as someone who understands the problem a company is facing.

This is what my past client Louise did.

She was desperate to work in education, so presented herself as an expert in education.

She had experience in education, but if you want to start working in a different industry you can do this by

• Building Tailored Projects

• Researching the Company’s problems

• Showing you understand the Company’s product

That’s how I transitioned from my boring job in tax to my current Data Science job at Vitality.
