Scared As Hell—But I Did It Anyway
Morning Data Scientists!
Have you ever felt unsure about trying something new?
That was me last week.
I flew 4,100 miles out to Nashville, America for a four-day retreat.
It was being hosted by other Christian Entrepreneurs into fitness, so I thought it was a great chance to have fun and meet like-minded people.
I felt excited but nervous as hell - I didn’t know a single person there.
I slumped onto the brown sofa waiting to meet everyone for the first time.
The thought ‘What have I got myself into’ went off like a fire alarm in my head.
But I had nothing to worry about.
As the once-intimidating strangers filtered into the room, my nerves eased instantly.
It was a weekend of fun, laughs and drawing closer to God.
When something feels right, you have to go for it.
Even if it feels so scary you want to shit yourself.
Happy Thursday and God Bless!
Albert
