The Key to Getting a Data Science Job

Hey mate,

Do you think you need more Data Science certifications to upskill? To build more projects?

You’re wrong.

Chances are you’re struggling to get interviews because you’re focusing on quantity over quality.

My client, Lodo, just got his first Data Science job – even without prior experience.

Here’s how he did it:

In his final interview, he talked about ONE project. Not ten. Just one.

Because it was relevant to the job.

And he presented it properly.

The interviewers paid attention. They were impressed by the quality and relevance of his project, not the quantity.

Now, Lodo has an exciting role with opportunities to grow, rather than doing the same old boring work every day.

This reminds me of the Pareto Principle – roughly 20% of the work results in 80% of the outcomes. This applies here too. Quality trumps quantity.

Employers want to know if you’ll be good at the job. That’s why the quality of your projects is crucial.

So focus on building Tailored Projects.

I’m curious – what projects are you currently working on? Hit reply and let me know.

Best,

Albert
