Job Search Assets
Good Morning Data Scientists!
Are you currently working on high-lever tasks which will allow you to make progress?
If you’re looking for a new Data Science Job you need to
Decide what jobs you want to target
Build the right assets (CV, LinkedIn)
Reach out to your warm network
Most people think they have number 2 nailed down but actually it’s something they struggle with (even if they have Data Science experience).
That’s because being a good Data Scientist and finding Data Science Jobs are different skills.
The second bit involves a lot more
Communication
Marketing
Selling yourself than the first.
So when my mate Dan started working with me, he was sceptical about what he could learn.
We immediately applied some nice marketing to his CV and LinkedIn to make sure he was selling himself properly.
One month later, he got his first couple of interviews.
Six months later, he got a new Data Science job!

This is his second data science job, where he’s looking to build on his career, take on a new challenge and build exciting projects (whilst being paid well).
Are you also looking for a new Data Science Job?
You can join my mentorship program The Confident Data Scientist.
It helps London-Based Data Scientists find exciting, high-paying data science jobs.
Dan took a bit longer at 6 months, but mist clients take 2-3 months to find a new job.
If you’re interested, reply ‘confident data scientist’ to this email and I’ll let you know if there are any slots remaining (only 3 left).
Happy Thursday and God Bless,
Albert
